Second seed Shahar Peer progressed to the last eight of the Tashkent Open after beating Kathrin Woerle in straight sets.
The Israeli came through in one hour and 16 minutes to record a 6-2 6-4 victory over the world number 129, setting up a quarter-final clash with Russia's Alexandra Panova. The qualifier beat seventh seed Patricia Mayr of Austria 7-5 6-1.
Olga Govortsova of Belarus is also into the last eight as the fourth seed beat Russian Vesna Manasieva 6! -2 6-3.
Home contender Akgul Amanmuradova also made it through as she beat Russian Ekaterina Bychkova 4-6 7-5 7-6 (7-4).
