#1 Texas beats #6 Oklahoma State 28-24Colt McCoy and the now 8-0 Longhorns continue rolling as they slip by Mike Gundy and his Oklahoma State Cowboys. Oklahoma State hung with Texas all game, but never had a lead. It was a back and forth affair, but in the end it came down to which quarterback played better. There was no doubt that Colt McCoy is the much better QB than Zac Robinson. McCoy continues to look like the top Heisman candidate as he completed 38-45 pass attempts. ! Texas also dominated the time of posession. Texas is the best team in all the land...for now.
Big 12 Outlook

Texas is obviously the top dog in this conference at 8-0 and #1 ranked in every poll, but next week the Longhorns face an undefeated Texas Tech Red Raiders team than just destroyed a #23 ranked Kansas squad 63-21. The #8 ranked TTU is the last hurdle for Texas in the Big 12 gauntlet before their schedule lightens. Let us not forget about the #4 ranked Sooners of Oklahoma who continue to be! at up on every opponent they face. Their lone loss of course ! was to T exas now 3 weeks ago.
SEC at a Glance

The Georgia Bulldogs lit up the LSU Tigers 52-38 in Baton Rouge this weekend. Georgia with their lone loss are slowly creeping themselves back into the national championship picture. Looking ahead for the Bulldogs, next week they meet Florida where the winner of that game will likely represent the SEC East in the SEC Title game. Alabama still quietly unbeaten at #2 looks like they will be representing the SEC West with LSU now having two losses.!
All the Rest
Penn State at #3 in the country remained unbeaten as they knocked off #9 Ohio State handing them their second loss and likely eliminating them from BCS Title contention. Penn State now looks like the team in the Big 10 to get into a BCS Bowl. #5 USC struggled to beat Arizona 17-10 which will hurt them in the polls with Georgia, Texas Tech, and Florida all dropping over 50 points on their opponents. #14 TCU won big once again. Boise State, Utah, and Ball State all remained unbeaten. One of these teams could sneak into a BCS Bowl if they continue to impress.
